Canyonlands National Park

On our way to St. George Utah we stopped at Canyonlands. Mark drove while I navigated.  Canyonlands is the largest National Park in Utah.
Roadside taking us to Mesa Arch which will be our first stop in Canyonlands.
We did take a hike up to Island in the sky to see the Mesa Arch.  The arch sits over 1,000 feet above the terrain below. We took many pictures, the view was spectacular.  Sherry & Mark heading up the trail to see Mesa Arch.
Reaching our destination and the view was breathtaking.

Our traveling companions Mark and Sherry.
We did place stacked rocks to show we were here along with the other rocks that were placed there as Memory Markers.
Back in the van and headed to Green River Overlook.
White Rim Road-- If you look closely you can see trails for 4 wheelers and dune buggies to take trips down.  Looks scary to me, no guardrails, to high up.  I'll leave that trail to the professionals.   The 100-mile White Rim Road loops around and below the Island in the Sky mesa top and provides an expansive view of the surrounding area.  Four wheel drives usually take 2-3 days and mountain bikes usually take 3-4 days.

Henry Mountains
Can anyone guess what these rock formations are?

As we traveled through the park to leave, I noticed several rocks that looked like they were balancing on the top of mountains. How do they stay there without falling off amazes me?
