At the Blu Restaurant for breakfast this morning. My breakfast was delicious. Again the Aqua class is so worth the extra benefits you get. Our concierge knew our names which was very impressive after only meeting us for her first time last night at dinner.
Ready to get off the boat and tour around Key West.
The cruise ship crew made it easy and fast to get off the boat. They took our picture and connected it to our sea card which has everything connected to it. You show this card for drinks and food and shopping on board. All is charged to this card which is attached to our room 9080.
The ship had a Trolley company waiting on us to board and take us into town from the ship. On our way into Key West, we saw several power boats arriving for the 2018 38th Annual Powerboat races.
Our trolley driver was none other than Kevin who owns Irish Kevin's Bar & Restaurant. Friends of ours Kathi & Joe Peno from The Villages, Florida had recommended for us to go there. He lit up and said I'm Kevin, I own Irish Kevin's. He was so happy that we shared the story with him, I even got my picture taken with him. We told him lunchtime we will be at his pub.

We went across the street and was amazed at the size of the roots on the Kapok Tree. Another tree that is as amazing as the Banyan tree is across the street. The Kapok tree is famous because the Mayans believed the spirits of the dead climbed these trees to heaven. They can grow 130 feet. This Kapok Tree is at the corner of Southard Street and Margaret Street in Key West.
We are going towards the ocean where the southern coast of the island is. We stopped to admire Ernest Hemingway's house where he was a resident and author, Ernest Hemingway did a lot of writing here in Key West Florida. His house is located at 907 Whitehead Street.
938 Whitehead St. Key West Florida is a lighthouse that is now a Museum. 
This van really caught our attention as we were getting ready to cross the street.
Shopped at Mallory Square where the streets were full of people and musicians playing on stage. A very active place for fun, food, shopping, and music. 
You don't have to look hard to spot Key West roosters and chickens. We could see them strutting around everywhere, and hear them crowing loud. The roosters are colorful Key West residents call them gypsy chickens. There have always been chickens in Key West. When people stopped turning live chickens into Sunday dinners some backyard chickens gained their freedom. Some roosters gained therecock fightingfighting became illegal.
