Sharon Rose Wiechens Preserve 2019

Arrived at the preserve at 7 am.  Wow, it's really foggy and lots of humidity in the air.
Our friend from our neighborhood came to meet us there and show us around.  We have been here several times before but thought it would be nice to have a guide.  With the heavy fog, there was not much activity in the preserve.  We walked around the boardwalk.  We did spot 2 eagles sitting on a tower.  Between the fog and how far away they were, I didn't get very good photos.

 Marlon bird hunting.
Laine G. showed us where the baby eaglets are located in The Villages. The eaglets are big enough that both of the eaglets can't fit in the next any longer.  The coloration of baby eaglets are brown and the beak and eyes aren't yellow yet.  At the age between 4-5 years, they become adults and the head and tail feathers turn white.  The eyes and beak turn yellow when they become adults also.
