Amsterdam Day 3 Christmas Day

Had a cream-filled pastry from this street vendor. They are always busy day and night.

New PJs for Christmas
Ready to go have breakfast
A one-seater car !!

Went to Cozy’s but they were closed. So we have to look for another breakfast place.
Hope we make it to this place.  Would love to take hubby here for his birthday.

Amaryllis was open for breakfast.   They make the best gingerbread lattes!

Walked to Ann Franks's house to see it.  Along the way, we stopped and admired the Railroad Station.

Walking from the train station to the Anne Frank House.

The artwork on this gate had several different figures

Interesting figures in the window

Upon arrival at the Anne Frank House, it was closed. So now walking to the Blue Line canal boat cruise.
This cheese shop was barely big enough for you to go inside. I see why it’s the smallest cheese shop!

We have finally arrived at the Blue Line canal cruise.

Large expensive hotel Amstel!  This hotel was founded by Dr. Samuel Sarphati, a physician in the 19th century.  It was a palace on the banks of the Amstel.  The palace has been totally refurbished.

The boat took us by the Heineken factory

Back to the hotel where we will rest a few then go to dinner.  We decided Dinner would be pizza😋
Eatting dinner at the local pizzeria

Merry Christmas

Day 5 Innsbruck

 Day 5

Off to Innsbruck

We leave Munich and head to Innsbruck.

We will indulge in delicious Kiachl doughnuts at the bustling Christmas market before returning to your hotel for dinner.

Steve our tour guide toured us around and then left us to shop at the Christmas Market.

The Goldenes Dachl was designed to serve as a royal box where the Emperor and his imperial entourage could sit in state and enjoy festivals, tournaments, and other events that took place in the square below. The Goldenes Dachl was built in honor of Maximilian's marriage to Bianca Maria Sforza of Milan. Not wishing to alienate the allies gained by his first marriage, to Maria of Burgundy, he had an image of himself between the two women painted on his balcony.

Shopping at the Christmas Markets

Shopping at the Christmas Market in Innsbruck. The first stop was to take a look at Swarovski.
Canopy of lights over the Christmas Market.

I bought this lovely hat at this market, I'm so happy with it.

I can't believe the huge slices of pizza.  One of the ladies on the trip bought a piece and they sliced it so 4 people could try it.  So delicious.

While at the market 2 out of the 3 Donna's on this trip bought the same hat.  I just love it.
