Joshua, Brody & Archer are flying Southwest to visit Florida. They were so excited to get here. When they had 30 minutes to go before boarding the flight got delayed. Now instead of 7:45pm, it's 8:05 pm. They are so disappointed. Wow, I can't believe this but they just called, and now another delay. Now the timing is 9:20pm. They get to board and another delay was announced. They now are sitting in the airplane and have been told the plane will not take off till 10pm. We have been at the Orlando airport waiting on them since 8pm. It's now midnight and we are so tired. 2 1/2 hours later they have arrived.
We are getting sleepy
They are finally here!!!
We picked up their luggage and are heading home. One more thing to go wrong, construction on turnpike which shut down and we had to take an alternative route. NO signs were up to show us how to detour around Orlando. We finally made it back to The Villages at 3:30am. Boy, what a long day and night.
It's 3:30am and we are finally home sweet home
