Audy and I are ready with our cameras to get some beautiful pictures within this rose garden at the history museum.  What a great time we are having with Audy and Greg.  Time is going fast, we have stayed very busy while visiting.  Thanks, guys for all the special attention we were given on our visit.

HAPPY EASTER AUDY & GREG, Marlon and I walked to Starbucks this morning and got them both cake pops.  Yummy

Arrival at the entrance to the rose garden with the Natural History Museum in the background,
Look at us go, cameras in hand and away we went.  So many beautiful roses to take pictures of.
A few pictures of the roses in the garden.  Enjoy they were all so pretty.

Marlon and Greg walked to the big water fountain and chatted as Audy and I did our thing taking pictures.
OK, its time to enter the museum. We bought some tickets to go to a special exhibit set up, butterflies.  Another photo shoot for Audy and I. :-)
As we entered the Rotunda we saw a beautiful piece of art.  This art was a public piece of art funded by LA.
The Rotunda is one of the most elegant spaces within the museum.  It was lined with marble columns and crowned by a gorgeous stained glass dome and coffered ceiling.
Time to go see all the dinosaur exhibits.

I don't think this dinosaur could tip-top through the rose garden LOL

We are now going to the butterfly exhibit.  Super excited to see 20 different CA species of butterflies and  10 subtropical varieties from south Florida and Texas. There were hundreds of butterflies inside the tent.  Wow oh wow.

With all the picture taking its time for some more fun.  Check out the cool sunglasses we found in the butterfly gift shop :-)

Getting tired but decided to go check out the gem and mineral section of the museum.  So glad we did.  The section was so interesting and the diamonds in the vault were breathtakingly beatiful.
