Los Cabos Day 7

Last day here in Los Cabos and I’m dreading it because I have truly had a great time!!
Last post of Los Cabos sunrise here at Dreams Resort!!
Having a cup of espresso as I watch from the balcony the amazing sunrise 🌅

Here comes the sun!!☀️
Last time to video the waving palm!!
Today the sun was shining on the coconuts on the palm tree. This is the first time I noticed them.
Breakfast at our favorite place World Cafe.  We sat by the ocean enjoying the view.  The waiters are right there to make sure you are happy with everything. Getting you coffee or mimosas or whatever you want. The restaurant is always filled with a variety of food in the buffet. They always make you an omelet your way.  The breads are delicious 😋

We have decided to spend time working on our Viking Cruise and our extra week in Amsterdam to celebrate Christmas and Marlon’s 70th birthday 🥳 I worked on some zen tangle and watched a Netflix show.

Lunch today was at Seaside Grill
This is the third wedding in the last 3 days 🥰
Marlon and I both ordered burgers. While waiting for food Marlin spotted a whale which we have seen every day we have been here!
Barely caught the whale blowing from goes spout check out the video.
Time to pack and get things organized and check in to United Airlines.
Watched some more of a Netflix movie and relaxed.  I was out on the balcony and saw them doing a tequila tasting.  They were talking about different tequillas and giving some history.
This tequila always has a big of some sort in it according to where it’s made. This one has a worm but others may have a scorpion!
Love this tequila
Will miss Angel he was very knowledgeable about tequila

At the tasting I earned my tequila-tasting pot.
Back to the room to get ready for dinner!! Decided which zen tangle cards I was giving out! My favorite bartender Julio was given a card. Will sure miss him

Sat outside and enjoyed the cool breeze from the ocean!!

Listened and watched a Flamenco 💃 dancer in the lobby bar area.

Dinner tonight was a Mexican buffet 🥰

Los Cabos Day 5

I was up early to see the sunrise.  Not as vibrant as the days before but still beautiful.

Watched men putting up lights to make a canopy down by the ocean.  Took them several hours to put up.  Tonight is supposed to be a fire show starting at 8:30pm.  I'm so looking forward to that.

Marlon walked down to Coco Cafe and got us a coffee.  We sat on the balcony and watched the guys finish up the canopy.  So very beautiful they did an excellent job. Forgot to mention I watched the waving palm frond again this morning It was so mesmerizing.

Walked down and got some towels to put on our lounge chairs under the cabana by the ocean.  It's nice being a preferred member. Preferred member and getting some extra benefits.  The bars on the beach for preferred members have top-shelf alcohol.  I had a coffee with Baileys and Amaretto as I enjoyed the sounds of the ocean.  It’s so nice here that wait on your hand and foot🥰

Marlon spotted a couple of whales coming up out of the water and blowing their spouts.

Spotted this bird and found out it’s called a cactus bird.

Today is Saturday and many local vendors are on the beach trying to sell their goods.

I still haven’t taken a horse ride on the beach and more than likely I won’t.

Love all the houses on the side of the mountains

Time for some 🌞 Sun. This has been a great vacation of relaxation

While sitting on the beach we saw a group of people dressed in white with turbans on.  Scared us as I had heard people were coming into Mexico trying to get to the USA.  The security around our hotel was keeping a close eye on them.

Did some zen tangle as I relaxed on the beach.  🏝️

All dressed up and ready for a night out. Went to the preferred lounge and ordered my tequila shots. I have become to now Julio, my favorite bartender there he takes such good care of me and gives me the best tequila they have now it’s time to go out find some chairs, and listen to the band playing.

Decided to get myself a lemon drop martini but I didn’t actually care for it so I left it. It tasted like the cheap vodka they made that’s why it pays to be in the preferred member club.

Tonight we ate dinner at Oceana and then back to Seaside Grill for their chocolate cake. Dessert.

Entertainment tonight

Los Cabos Day 3 What an amazing place

Woke up early. It’s now like 5 AM. The Dreams Resort is an amazing place to be. Here in Los Cabos Marlon and I are learning how to relax and enjoy life. This is the place where we find our happiness. The sunrise that occurs here over the sea of Cortez is breathtakingly beautiful. I’ve never heard the sound of an ocean like the ocean here, it is very loud and the waves roll like nothing else. It’s very enjoyable to sit and enjoy all this beauty around us. I posted the sunrise here in Los Cabos today.

We have a champagne breakfast coming at 7 AM. We scheduled our breakfast for this morning with all the goodies we picked out the day before.  We decided what we wanted to eat and drink and they brought it directly to our room at 7am.  It was nice to put on white soft robes, and slippers supplied to us by Dreams Resort and sit down and enjoy the champagne breakfast.

Before we got our breakfast, we enjoyed an espresso out on the balcony. It’s really nice that our room had an espresso machine. Wow. Look at our champagne breakfast.
Marlon opened up our bottle of champagne🥰

It was really nice that an hour later we were called to make sure everything was as expected from the Dreams Resort. I can’t give them enough praise for making this the best vacation ever.
Time for some fun in the sun! 🕶️🌞🥰we found a cabana that had a couple lounge chairs under it so we designated those two chairs as ours for half a day. I’m going to cop some rays and sip on ice-cold ice tea lunch will be some chips and salsa and a fresh glass of iced tea.

After some sun, I set up and this guy was walking the beach, trying to sell different things, clothing, hats, etc. I didn’t purchase anything I didn’t feel I needed to if I want to purchase something there’s plenty of stuff and the resort to buy.

Just look at our amazing view🥰

Decided to eat a small lunch at the World Cafe then go back to our room for some more 😌relaxing. On our way to our room, we heard mariachi music playing. I saw a group of band members playing and some people who work at the resort dancing. I thought well I better get a video of that so people can see it cause it’s really awesome.

I videoed for a little bit and then one of the workers named Angel grabbed me and started to dance with me. Marlon started the video of me dancing with Angel. Eventually, we did make it back to our room. I am truly having the time of my life here.
Tequila shots to start the evening.
Dinner tonight......at Oceania.......  serenaded by the saxophone player during dinner.
