A day in Daytona with my Saint Louis boys

Today, I spent time soaking up the sun and bird watching, but the only birds I saw were brown pelicans. Having a private space in front of the condo was a lovely perk, as it allowed me to avoid the crowds on the beach. I appreciated having my own private area with a great view and comfortable loungers. The boys discovered some remarkable shells that were unbroken and unique. This evening, we had a light rain shower, which resulted in a beautiful rainbow. Although the sunset was obscured by clouds, we enjoyed the nighttime view from bed. 🥰

Magic House with My St. Louis Boys

Entrance to the Magic House, we are all ready to see what this place has in store for us.

Ring Around the Rosie Pocket full of posies...........
Cookies for the boys as we wait for the Magic House to open.
As soon as we got into Magic House there was a room to the right that had several instruments you could play.  So much fun. Check Archer out playing music on this wheel
Decided to go outside and do the fun things out there before it gets too hot to be outside.  The temp is supposed to get to 110 degrees F. The boys loved playing with the large ticker toys.

It's time to enter Mary Ann's garden.  Can't wait to see what we find!

Tunnel of flowers

Grandpa teaches Brody how to play the instrument

Archer is busy playing in the jeep

Anyone for a snowmobile ride?

In the Ice Zone room, the boys played with a blue liquid, filling these tubes up and pouring them onto the blocks of ice.

The boys went up and down a flight of stairs to go down the slide. Exhausting so I waited at the top for them to return. LOL

Now the magnet room was the room we all liked the best.  Spent at least 30 minutes in there.

Dinner tonight with the family. Love seeing Cathy & Allan

Arrival in St. Louis MO Summer Vacay 2022

I knew we were in St. Louis when I saw the huge Arch. Contacted my son Josh and sent this picture.

Found Josh's apartment and we were so happy to see all of them

Went to the hotel and all my St. Louis boys went swimming.

It's time for lunch and we found a place called Frailey's.  This place has been in business for 20 years and still going strong.  I can see why it had great tasting food, plenty of food for the money, and the best service ever.  The waitress even gave the boys a package of Oreo cookies apiece.
Been a long day so Josh and the boys went home.  We returned to the hotel, rested, and made plans with the boys for tomorrow.

Good Bye St Louis Boys Miss you Already

We had a hard time finding the parking lot for the airport hotel called Hyatt Regency.  This hotel is beautiful and very convenient to stay at if you have an early flight.

While checking in we found out they are holding a pagent for the World Imperial Beauties.  We met the 2019 beauty who will help bring in the new 2021 beauty.
Love the design of this bench in the hotel.
.The elevators to the 6th floor are glass and you can see everyone walking around trying to get to their gates etc.
The hotel floors had lots of greenery and water fountains down the middle between the rooms.
Josh's room was on the 6th floor which is the same floor as the pool.
The pool at the top of the hotel is amazing.  Great view of Orlando.
Well, it's time to say Goodbye to my St. Louis Boys.  Gonna miss them so much.  Hope this vacation helped them enjoy their time away from reality.
The ride home from the airport was awful.  Strong winds and a torrential downpour.  Very poor visibility.  Made it home safely.
