4 Wheeling & Wild Horses on the beaches of North Carolina

Marlon and I rode with Chris & Alissa because they had a 4 wheel drive Jeep. Our van would get stuck so thank goodness they had room for us.

Here we go to the beach but the first stop is a small grocery with an air pump outside. We stopped to let some air out of the tires before we get to the beach.  This will keep us from getting stuck. There are ruts in the sand making it a bumpy ride.

We drove on the beach then ventured off over the sand dunes to look for all the wild horses.  We traveled down many roads that were all sand.

To live in these homes you had to have a 4 wheel drive to get out and go to the store.

This is the fence that extends out into the ocean to keep the wild horses from going to far down the beach.

Finally, we have found the wild horses.  So exciting.

After spending several hours on the beach and trails we left the beach and headed towards the Beer Garden for some brew and appetizers.

Beach Wedding Vow Renewal (Ken & Deb Friece)

Marlon was asked to say Ken & Debs vows in which he agreed.

The beach wedding vow renewal was very emotional and beautiful.  Perfect couple, perfect family, and beautiful weather. You may kiss your bride.

We are best friends.

I painted this ceramic box that has several different interchangeable plates.  I made this one especially for their wedding with beach stuff on it.
After the ceremony, a low boil was prepared by a caterer. The food was so delicious.

Best wedding ever.

Duck Doughnuts and Beach Time at Outer Banks, North Carolina.

If you have a Duck Doughnut in your area give them a try!! Very delicious, I had a maple bacon doughnut to start another beautiful day in Outerbanks. Its time for everyone to head to the beach for a walk.

Molly and Ella are Ken & Debs dogs are very well behaved. Digging in the sand was the best part of their day. I still cannot tell if they ever liked getting wet in the ocean.

I love these cool beach shoes!!

Sunset at Sunset Grill in Outerbanks

Watching the sunset at Sunset Grill with amazing friends. Great view from the top deck, tiki torches lined the pier and restaurant railing giving the place a great ambiance! I ate steamed oysters on the half shell for my first time. Amazing evening with friends!!#outerbankswithfriends

Deb & I - love my new friend
Honda friends

Ken & Deb such a happy loving couple.
Sunset Grill is the best place in Corella, North Carolina to watch the sunset, hence the name of the bar-restaurant Sunset Grill.

Tiki torches lined the railing out on the pier.

Shared volcano rum drink with appetizers!!

All of us had seafood for dinner!! The food was so delicious.
We ate baked oysters on the half shell and had fun with the oyster shells.

When we got back to the house we all went and got in the hot tub. Great ending to a beautiful day.
