Day 7 Uli’s Swiss Dairy Farm -Engelberg, Switzerland

Today it's snowing and we are going to a Swiss Dairy farm.  The owners are Uli and Cecil. They are going to talk about their business of milking their swiss dairy cattle. We were at the ski resort Titulus. Went in and ordered some coffee and Irish cream while we waited for them to come and get us.   They came and had to divide our group in half because we had 40 people.   Half of the group went on a horse and carriage ride and the rest of us had an enjoyable walk to the farm for lunch and to hear about farm life.

Such a winter wonderland walking to the farm.

When we arrived at the farm someone had made a cute snowman.

After Uli's talk about how they milk the cattle and the cheese people come immediately to pick it up for their cheese making.

Our group walked around and petted the cattle but all they wanted to do was lick on us. Now it was time to find Cecil who was busy preparing our lunch which consisted of everything made of cheese.

This machine melts the cheese and then Cecil would scrape the melted cheese on your toasted bread.  Can't wait to try this delicious sandwich.

I made Uli a glass fusion Christmas ornament.  She loved it. She told me she was hanging it in a "Pride of Place" which means in a spot where she can show it off essentially.

Delicious lunch
