Day 3 Munich Christmas Market - Mittersending

We have had a busy day filled with many activities and are back at the hotel.  Audy and I decided to walk down to a Christmas Market that was just down the street from our hotel.  It is snowing and so pretty.  The temperature is not bad I'm not cold!

We have arrived at the Christmas Market
We have reached the Christmas Market and can smell the delicious pastries, and hear Christmas music playing. We are on our way to find out where the music is being played at.
We found where the Christmas music was coming from.  We stood and listened to the musicians playing the Alphorns.  Such beautiful music coming from them.

The market also had a large ice skating rink where lots of kids were skating and having fun.

There were several ski lifts that were sitting around for people to sit in and eat or drink their hot Gluehwein (also spelled Glühwein) is a hot spiced "glow wine" that's found in many winter markets in Germany and Austria. Many tourists know it as an after-ski drink. After you come in from being out in the cold and snow, this warm, spicy mulled drink is supposed to make you "glow" with warmth again. Watch out — the alcohol in this warm beverage can quickly go to your head

Shopping at the markets

Love looking out and seeing the snow coming down.
I wanted to build a snowman so Audy and I went out in the park to find a good location to build.

MR. SNOWMAN
ALL DONE, OUR WORK OF ART!!

Time to go back to the hotel and get warm and get some sleep.  It's going to be another long day tomorrow stuffed with lots of activities.

Saw this statue and just liked it.

First Snow at Old Faithful

Good Morning from Old Faithful Yellowstone National Park.  We are only here a couple more days so the snow is ok with me.  I love the beauty of the snow on the mountains. This picture is from our cabin its so pretty.
We watched Old Faithful blow this morning and with the backdrop of the snow-covered ground and mountains oh so pretty. Snow or cold does not stop all the people who come to see Old Faithful including us. Love these early morning pictures!!  Hope you do too.
Looks like these flowers were surprised by the snow also.  They are pretty against the snow also.

Oh We can build a snowman

Ok, it's time to get out of the cabin and go see some scenery down Firehole Lake Drive Yellowstone.  It hasn't snowed all day.
Great Fountain Geyser
As we were leaving we saw the sun shining on the mountains and we could see all the snow on them.  Awe, this is just beatiful.
On a river along the way home, we stopped to get a picture of the Trumpeter Swan.  :-)
Many cars were stopped along the road and we had not pulled out off a side road yet.  We see a bull elk with his group of cows.

Well, it's starting to spit snow again so we are on our way back to our cabin at Old Faithful.
