Arrival in Albuquerque, New Mexico

Enjoying traveling through Albuquerque, NM, down Route 66. The mountain ranges were like someone had painted a beautiful landscape. The majority of the homes in NM were adobe. Forgot to mention, these landscape pictures were taken while sitting in a car going 75 mph, they didn’t turn out too bad

Meritte Island Birding Adventure

 What a fabulous weekend. I love to go birding so after leaving Port Charlotte we drove across to the Atlantic side of Florida and went to Titusville to drive down the National Wildlife Refuge. We saw so many different varieties of birds. I couldn't get pictures of everything I saw. I love the hunt to find them.

Space X launch

Day 25 of my birthday month celebration. We parked along the road on Canaveral Seashore Drive to watch the Space X rocket launch. Getting to see the launch was icing on the cake. I took photos of the rocket launch which I think turned out pretty good.

 

2 Days in Paradise with Ohio Peeps

 Breakfast casserole to start the day.  It was super delicious. Teresa and I made it. :-)

Ready to head to the farmers' market in Brownwood.  Hopped in the golf cart, and Teresa and I got to use the heater since it was in the 40's F this morning.

Teresa and Ric wanted to try a drink they had in Kentucky at a bourbon tasting.  We actually had what they needed to make it.  It was called a root beer float.

Another drink we tried was a strawberry fiz.  Teresa had bought some strawberries at the farmers' market and had brought the vodka.  Yummy, we enjoyed it out on the patio to soak up some sun.

Another day, we each had some tequila shots. LOL>

Sunday, we went to Fenney and played some putt-putt.  Good times.  After the game of 18 holes, we went to the market there and shopped around.

Spanish Springs Car Show in The Villages Florida

 A great day with friends Ric & Teresa from Ohio.  Drove the golf carts there which took about 30 minutes.  Came home and ordered pizzas and wings.
