Who can forget a tour guide with BLUE SUADE SHOES? He has lived here all his life, and definitely knows this area well.
Larry and Kathy will not be able to go on this tour as they both have a virus and want to stay out of rain and wind. Kenn has the virus too but decided to come along. Hope he doesn't get worse.

The Groothoofdspoort is a former city gate in Dordrecht that is located at the point where three rivers meet; the Merwede, the Oude Maas, and the Noord.
Several streets were named after what they were famous for. Of course, Wine Street was named this and had the famous Bordeaux and various other specialty wines.
There are 4 different kinds of houses in the Netherlands, First one is called the Stepping stone designed home. The top of the home looks like steps.
2nd type of home is the square top.
I will call this home the 9 daughters' home. The doctor who lived here had 9 daughters. The home was occupied by the girls and the doctor and wife had a home next door.

This home has sandbags against the lower door to prevent water from entering. There has been flooding so the dune was opened and all is good.
The street of flags represents countries that are welcome here in Holland.
Wine barrel chairs
These blue and white markers represent this residential parking. A resident has the key to stand up the lock so no one can park there when they are gone. The locks are put down when the car is parked there.
The alleys have such a beautiful ambiance.
