Today Marlon made a great tasting Sunday morning breakfast.
It has rained most of the night and part of this morning. CA just doesn't know how to react with rain as they rarely get any rain. I laid out on the porch for about a half hour, then the sun was no longer shining down on me. Went inside and finished up my blog from yesterday. Audy and Greg will be by to pick us up around 1:30 pm so we can drive to Huntington Beach and look at an apartment. Greg got some good news before they arrived at our apartment.
We drove to Huntington Beach and Audy and Greg looked at an apartment that has not been completely built yet. They did like it. Took a gander over to Cosco and was going to buy some shampoo but the place was a mad house, even the parking lot was awful. Went in and right back out to many people in one place. Even though El Nino is sending CA some powerful wind we have decided to still go to Huntington Beach. Upon our arrival, the palm trees were swaying and the branches were blown behind them. Sand was blowing making the beach so smooth, not a foot print or any other mark in the sand.
I can't believe there were people out in the ocean with boards and a kite attached to them, Looks too dangerous for anybody to be in the water. Look at the flag in this picture. It looks like it's about ready to off the pole. See the kites in the background? Wow, I would not be out there with this vicious wind.
Audy and her dad are determined to stay out in the wind that is so strong it about takes your breath away. Me, well I went back to the car where I felt safe.
The sand is blowing around making it look hazy on the beach.
