John Watling's Rum Distillery in Nassau Bahamas

In 1789 the estate of John Watling was built overlooking the harbor.  This was the site where Bahamians hand-crafted Johh Watling's small-batch rums.  We were given a tour of the factory where the rum is made and barreled.

Marlon is smelling the rum barrels

Time to go inside the house and shop then on into the Red Turtle Tavern.  We sampled 3 different rums and then got a signature Bahamian cocktail.  John Watling's Distillery is located on Delancey Street and is open from 10am-6pm seven days a week.  On Fridays, they stay open till 9pm.  Not open on National holidays.

Here comes my signature cocktail rum pina colata.

 So cold and yummy

Irish Kevin's Key West & Night Time on Celebrity Cruise

We have reached the Southernmost Point in the USA.  Key West Florida. A very long line of people wanting to get their photo taken by this buoy.  Instead of waiting in line we took a picture in between people changing spots by the buoy. The Southernmost point buoy is an anchored concrete buoy in Key West Florida.     This buoy was established in 1983 by the city at the corner of South Street and Whitehead Street.  It is one of the most visited and photographed attractions in the USA.
Check Mark - we have a picture and now I'm HOT and ready to eat some lunch at Irish Kevin's.
As we walked to Duval Street this van caught our attention. Glad they got stopped by a traffic light so I could get this picture.  Wow, this van is decked out with conch shells and paintings of the ocean life all over it.
Almost to Irish Kevin's and we hear music playing and see a stage set up in the middle of Duval Street. A band is playing some music and people are gathered around listening.

We are hot and stop for a minute but want to get to Irish Kevin's for a nice cold beer.I see the sign for Irish Kevin's!! Yeah!!  This place is awesome and I am happy its air-conditioned with some great music playing.

Airconditioning and cold beers!!

Lots of people enjoying food, drink and music.
Reuben, fries and a big dill pickle....YUMMO
Heading back to the ship now and have one last stop to go.  KEY LIME PIE> Found a store that sold the pie and split a piece.  So delicious!

Back on the ship, first thing is shower and relax after a being out in the sun all day.  Time to enjoy the balcony and wait for the sun to go down.
Went down to Persian Garden again for some relaxation.  Really enjoy the heated loungers.
