Glochester Blues Festival

Gloucester is a nice place to walk and learn about the history of this quaint fishing village. The harbor walkway is a must-see. Lots of American Flags along the harbor are blowing in the wind, lining the harbor. Volunteers planted a flower garden, and the flowers in the garden are so beautiful. Volunteers do amazing work keeping the flower gardens in such great shape. We were lucky to see the drawbridge in action at Blynman’s Canal and see various boats come through. The weather is perfect with lots of sunshine and a cool breeze

July 4th With Saint Louis Boys

Tried to tailgate and see the fireworks, but after we were all set, the rains came down and the floods went up, teaching us to be resilient in the face of unexpected challenges. The boys did make it over to the Wildwood festival to pick up a lot of free stuff from the vendors promoting their company. They were passing it out to get rid of it due to the incoming rain and lightning. Packed up and went home and had a picnic with the food we had brought, turning a potentially disappointing day into a joyful memory. St. Louis boys are on their way back home. Enjoyed every minute with them, grateful for the time spent together.

A day in Daytona with my Saint Louis boys

Today, I spent time soaking up the sun and bird watching, but the only birds I saw were brown pelicans. Having a private space in front of the condo was a lovely perk, as it allowed me to avoid the crowds on the beach. I appreciated having my own private area with a great view and comfortable loungers. The boys discovered some remarkable shells that were unbroken and unique. This evening, we had a light rain shower, which resulted in a beautiful rainbow. Although the sunset was obscured by clouds, we enjoyed the nighttime view from bed. 🥰
