Magic House with My St. Louis Boys

Entrance to the Magic House, we are all ready to see what this place has in store for us.

Ring Around the Rosie Pocket full of posies...........
Cookies for the boys as we wait for the Magic House to open.
As soon as we got into Magic House there was a room to the right that had several instruments you could play.  So much fun. Check Archer out playing music on this wheel
Decided to go outside and do the fun things out there before it gets too hot to be outside.  The temp is supposed to get to 110 degrees F. The boys loved playing with the large ticker toys.

It's time to enter Mary Ann's garden.  Can't wait to see what we find!

Tunnel of flowers

Grandpa teaches Brody how to play the instrument

Archer is busy playing in the jeep

Anyone for a snowmobile ride?

In the Ice Zone room, the boys played with a blue liquid, filling these tubes up and pouring them onto the blocks of ice.

The boys went up and down a flight of stairs to go down the slide. Exhausting so I waited at the top for them to return. LOL

Now the magnet room was the room we all liked the best.  Spent at least 30 minutes in there.

Dinner tonight with the family. Love seeing Cathy & Allan

Arrival in St. Louis MO Summer Vacay 2022

I knew we were in St. Louis when I saw the huge Arch. Contacted my son Josh and sent this picture.

Found Josh's apartment and we were so happy to see all of them

Went to the hotel and all my St. Louis boys went swimming.

It's time for lunch and we found a place called Frailey's.  This place has been in business for 20 years and still going strong.  I can see why it had great tasting food, plenty of food for the money, and the best service ever.  The waitress even gave the boys a package of Oreo cookies apiece.
Been a long day so Josh and the boys went home.  We returned to the hotel, rested, and made plans with the boys for tomorrow.

Bourbon Street Blues in Nashville TN

Found this awesome place to listen to some blues and have dinner here in Nashville TN.  As we ventured from our hotel to Bourbon Street Blues and Boogie Bar downtown Nashville was hopping.   On the main street, a sign hung over the main road called Printer's Alley for over 25 years.
This place was not easy to find it was down a side street. The street was welcoming with a glowing neon sign and twinkling lights.  As you looked up, there were balconies with wrought iron which surely gives you the feeling of Bourbon Street in New Orleans.

* From what we were told thousands of musicians have been on this stage including legends like James Brown and B.B. King.

My dinner tonight

Friends we made at our table tonight.  It's funny how people come into your life.  He had just had 2 strokes in Oct and finally recovered. Long story but we really connected.  Louis was only 40 years old.

When we left we stopped for dessert and Irish coffee at Layered cake.

Choose the Carmel Carrot Cake

Great last evening in Nashville.
