Water Lilly Bridge Tour & Hogeye Path Wildliightfe

 Taking a golf cart ride to take a ride over I-75 new bridge to the south side of The Villages. Left at 10am and returned home at 1:30pm.  Stopped at Dunkin Doughnuts and got our great tasting Cold Brew with Sweet Cream.  Took off on the journey down south in the cart.  After crossing the bridge there we parked at Hogeye Path.  The walk was about 3 miles.  I had lots of opportunities to take wildlife photos.

Polo in The Villages- Citizens Bank VS Fross & Fross

Drove golf cart to The Villages Polo fields to see a match between Citizens Bank and Fross & Fross.  Marlon and I tailgated at Polo fields. We brought our chairs and small table along with a variety of snacks and drinks Marlon packed for us.  Before we went to the match we drove to Brownwood to get some cold brew coffee with sweet cream.  The sun is shining but there is a cool breeze blowing in the wind.  Such a wonderful day to be outside watching our first polo match of the season.  The tailgate area is totally full.  When we arrived a big sign was out front saying it was a full house.  Lucky us to get some tickets.

Ponies used in the match  - Although termed ‘ponies’ they are in fact horses- i.e., Most are of the Argentinean Criollo breed or pure or cross thoroughbreds. Their main qualities are speed and stamina; the ability to accelerate, stop and turn quickly; and temperaments that are amenable to the rigors of the game.
