Drove directly to the hotel, Mary and Karen’s room was ready and ours was not. We stored our luggage in their room and took off to find the trolley. Nice surprise the trolley stops right across the street from the hotel. Took a ride on the trolley called The Looper. It’s a great way to see downtown St Petersburg FREE.

Macaroni and cheese were superb.
After lunch, we needed to walk off some of the food we just ate. Started walking and found an art museum that was featuring Dr. Seuss. I got a couple photos before they told me no cameras. hehehehe
Time to head back to the hotel to get ready for the evening. We are going to a place called The Canopy. Resting in the hotel and cleaned up for a fun evening with friends. Waited for the trolley to arrive and boarded it for a ride to The Canopy.
We were very lucky when we arrived to find a seat as the place was packed with people enjoying drinks, food and of course the amazing view. Marlon, Karen, Mary, and I started off with a Birchwood Old Fashion drink. Wow, this place makes a great drink, we all loved the stick of black cherries added to the drink. Since it was Happy Hour from 4-7 we ordered off the happy hour menu everything was 1/2 price. Good size portions and delicious.

When we left The Canopy we walked through a park that had Christmas lights all over the trees. They say St. Petersburg at Christmas is a beautiful sight to see.
Walked to the trolley stop and boarded to go back to the hotel for the evening. Great day and evening touring around St. Petersburg, Florida.
