Josie Special Birthday Gift

Josie requested a ring with her Mother's ashes in it.  I gave it to her tonight.  So emotional for all of us.  Mom was engraved on the ring.  I waited for her to want something like this.  Better she asked them I give it to her to early from the death of her Mom.  Love you Josie and so did your Mom.

 Started off the evening with catching up with Melissa Nunamaker who brought Mason our grandson and his friend to watch the Homecoming Parade with us.  So happy to see them.😀 Mason had lots of candy thrown to him from the people in the parade.

Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens

After we ate lunch the rains came down hard,  lasted about 15 minutes then cleared up and away we went to the gardens.

Morikami's gardens, named Roji-en: Garden of the drops of dew, were designed to be a living exhibit as an extension of the museum.  Its six distinct gardens are inspired by but are not replicas of significant gardens of Japan.  Designer Hoichi Kurisu has created a unique garden conceived and constructed in the spirit of the masters.

It was lunchtime so when we arrived we enjoyed a delicious Pan-Asian inspired lunch at Cornell Cafe.  The open-air cafe on the terraces overlooked the tranquil gardens.

12 Year Anniversary

 Happy 12th Anniversary Marlon.
I have the best husband ever, just ask me!! He surprised me this morning with a card, roses, and a necklace. It’s not just a necklace, it’s a whale tail necklace. Our honeymoon was spent in Maine and we went on a whale watch. During this whale watch, we saw 100 pods of whales. Will never forget this adventure. I love you to the moon and back.

 After dinner yesterday we stopped in Ocala to get a coffee at Starbucks. Starbucks was closed as they were preparing for Dorian's arrival. Drove by this brewery and decided to stop and check it out. Great beer, excellent service and nice place to hang out and meet people. This place also has a ping pong table 

Friday Night High School Football Game

Drove from Oxford, Ohio from visiting JL to watch Levi Shafer play in the West Liberty High School band.  West Liberty Salem tigers are undefeated and after there game, tonight with a score of 57-8 remain undefeated.
