Day 14 Sunset in Utsunomiya and Sammy's 1

Today was just a day to enjoy the sunshine and walk around taking in all that is around us. Went into a shop that had all the lights turned off except for one small bulb hanging from the ceiling which was dim. We turned the handle on the door and it came open so we went in. Back in the corner of the shop was a young guy spinning wool. This was a bazaar sight to see, asked him how he learned to do that and he told us a very old friend of his. : -) Watched him spin on his spinning wheel and looked at all the handmade items that were made from the wool he was spinning. It was very fascinating to watch him do this, he seemed to be so relaxed and happy just sitting there in that dimly lit shop by himself doing what makes him happy. : -0

Its Friday night and I"m so glad tomorrow we are going as a group to Tokyo. : -) I sat looking out the window of the hotel and was watching the sun go down. Such a nice way to end the day and very relaxing. When Marlon got home we were having dinner with Scott, Katie, and Josh. Went to a small gyoza shop that I had never been too. We watched the girl make Gyoza she was so precise at everything she did. She made them fast but they were bought up fast also. She was in the front of the store making them so all could see. The place held around 15 people very interesting how they can make a living selling gyoza but I guess they do. Had a very enjoyable time with the group we went with. Its funny but we got on plate that we didn't know what the filling was. Now this is hilarious Katie bit into one and only bit aliitle and basically spit it out. OMG it had a hotdog in it..........GROSS .............we all laughed and I took a picture. Everyone was not so interested in eating the surprise gyoza's after that. LOL

We left there and decided we would go to Sammy's and have a beer but when we got there it was full so we left and went to Sammy's 1. When we arrived there is was pretty full except for some seats at the bar. Alright just enough for all of us to have a seat. We looked over and saw Greg M., Deb, and Dave W sitting together at a table. They looked very happy sitting there having a few beverages. Deb was celebrating her completion of her area and was very happy about that. Felt good for her because I know their jobs are stressful. We all ordered us some drinks and chatted amongst ourselves believe it or not i was still alittle hungry so I ordered some potato salad which I can't explain why I like it so much here. The taste is well delicious, it has its own distinct flavor. The girl who waited on us was very nice her name was Miya. I truly enjoyed talking with her the best I could. All I know for sure is we liked each other as friends and who doesn't enjoy making friends? She wanted our picture taken together so I had Marlon take it for us then she wanted her Mom to be in picture also. ; -) Ended the evening so we could get some rest for the busy day tomorrow as we head out to Tokyo. I'm ready for my 1st trip there and so very excited.
