Adventure to the Flower Dome Day 12

Belinda and I have decided to take a road trip today to Utsunomiya park which is where a flower dome is suppose to be. Sounds interesting with lots of green houses to go through bet this place is going to smell like SPRING which I am so ready for, so tired of cold wet snow.
We met in the lobby and when I got down there Belinda was talking to the front desk people getting information on what bus we needed to take to get to our destination. We were told to go to JR train station and out front is the bus stops go to bus stop 6 and that bus will take U directly to Utsunomiya Park great one bus!!!
I wanted to get gloves at the dollar store and we had one hour and 1/2 before we needed to be at the bus stop. When we got inside the mall we stopped at the information desk to confirm what our hotel told us about the what bus to take. Thank goodness we did because the bus schedule had changed and we needed to be on bus stop 8 not bus stop 6. I'm sure glad we confirmed if we would have gotten on bus 6 who knows where we would have ended up at. ?
On the way we stopped at a store and looked at this outfit we thought was cute OMG it was $829 we both laughed and said NO Way. The weather is nasty outside again its not snowing but its cold must find gloves. When we got to the next floor we stopped at a used clothing store Belinda has been looking for a rain coat since we got here but has not found any to fit. She saw a coat on a manikin and we walked over and she took the coat off and tried it on. Well its amazing but she could actually get the coat buttoned but the sleeves ended up being to short. She was disappointed I felt bad for her she really wants a jacket. I tried to jacket on and it fit me perfect. I ended up buying it for $25 and in mall these same jackets are running for $100 ~$150. I love the jacket, we started searching the racks to find one to fit Belinda and we did find one for 1/2 the price I paid for the one I got. I feel so much better now that she has one too!!! We walk out of the store called Scrapyard with BIG SMILES on our face with our new /used coats.
Finally we are up another floor and head to the dollar store I found a pair of gloves that are red and at the top they have pink and white strips oh well they will keep my hands warm like i said its so cold outside. I got the gloves and then we had to get moving towards the bus stop outside.
The bus arrived and I confirmed with bus driver we would end up at Utsunomiya Park. He said yes so we both got on and found us a seat. Riding along Belinda tells me we were suppose to take a bus ticket well we didn't do that. The bus driver knows where we got on at and so there the meter at the front of the bus tells how much we will owe which should be $6.20 one way the bus ride should at least be 40 minutes from what the info desk told us.
I started to get a little freaked out when i saw the snow coming down, I'm thinking is this the right thing to be doing? If the roads get bad and they stop running the buses then what? Marlon would not be happy is all I know. We would have to find a way to call the hotel to leave him a message, can you see how freaked I am well listen to me yak yak yak......... The snow is now hitting the front window so bad that the wipers can't keep the window cleaned off for the bus driver, and the window is also steamed up. When you see the pictures you will see why I'm freaking out.
When we got to the Park the snow had slowed down but it was pretty cold outside. The bus driver talked with us about when the next bus would be back. We were standing outside the bus not knowing which direction to go to get to the Flower dome. I guess the driver could tell we were lost and confused lol
He also showed us the direction to head to go to the park and flower dome. We thanked him and headed in the direction he had pointed. ; -D
We browsed around in and out of the green houses, we ran into a guy who spoke some English and he asked us what brought us to Japan. I told him that our husbands work for Honda. He told us to enjoy and went on his way. Stopped at some shop in the flower dome and OMG there were pictures hanging up of a foot and a hand with these little fish eating dead skin off of them. We didn't need to have this picture translated it was pretty obvious what you were paying for. NO we didn't have this treatment done looked a little fishy to me LOL
Shopped in a little shop in there also where I met a nice older Japanese woman. We communicated the best we could I can't speak Japanese and she can't speak many English words. I can imagine how we looked with our hands flying around and trying to make each other understand what we are trying to tell them but we were a sight. I know we talked some about Nikko and the stable of the white horse with the 3 monkeys on it. She was trying to tell me see no evil hear no evil and speak no evil. We were doing the same hand motions to each other again what a sight we must have been. When she could understand me she would yell out and laugh so hard........LOL
We needed to start back to the bus stop and went through a flower shop with tons of flowers in it. Wow the awesome smell coming at us was so great. Wish I could bottle that smell and bring it home as a air freshener. It took us a while to decide which flowers to buy but we finally made our choices and headed out to the bus stop. Hey its not snowing thank goodness, pray for a safe journey home.
When the bus arrives we take our ticket and find us a seat on the bus. The bus ride home was nothing but amusing to us. I haven't laughed so long and hard in a long long time. Seems like the little things were making us giggle like school girls. lol It started off with we noticed that every time the bus driver would shift gears he would grind them. We chuckled and he did it again and then we chuckled and he did it again and by that time we were in a full blown laugh. I am smiling now as I'm writing this note, it really was funny. So glad to be spending my time with someone i know the Donna Belinda Adventures sure have been great. Will surely miss her when she leaves on March 19, I don't leave till April 6th.
I'm glad our ride back was entertaining for us because before you know it we are back at the JR Train station getting dropped off at the bus stop.
Going back to the hotel now and going to rest up and hopefully our guys get home early tonight. I'm waiting and waiting and Marlon finally gets home at 7pm not bad. We didn't know where we were going to eat decisions decisions. We walked over to the dollar store to buy some things Marlon wanted for work. Walked down to the grocery and purchased a couple bottles of wine which we have had before. Took our stuff back to the room and went back down to lobby. We saw Jim and asked if he had someplace to go to dinner. He told us NO and we knew the rest of the group had went to Chef Bob's. We invited him to have dinner with us. We ended up going to Toriya Don~Cho which is a great place to have chicken tacos.
WE had the same waitress as the first time we came there her name is My Yah.......can't spell her name but oh well she is a very nice girl. She even took pictures of all the items on their menu and made a English menu which makes it easier on the staff there and easier for us to order. Great Idea I told her she did good job. We enjoyed our dinner and visited with some guys that were from Englands Honda and New Mexico's HOnda team. All were nice boy is this a great experience.......... : -)
We invited Jim back to our room to take a look at the hand made cosmetic bags that I had bought. Jim was thinking about getting them for a gift and wanted to see what they looked like. I don't know what Marlon was showing him but on well. He left and we got ready for bed what an adventurous day. OH yeah i mustn't forget to mention that i tried the moisture mask on last night awesome my face feels so refreshed. : -0
