Went shopping with Teresa and Deb, Sue was busy today taking her driving test which I hear is very, very hard. Good Luck Sue!! I'm hungry and feel like eating something sweet so we went to where all the restaurants are located and we each got a fish cake. The fish is made of vanilla cake and inside is filled with vanilla pudding. We watched them being made, e people making them are very fast and done to perfection. YUM YUM they are so tasty they could become addicting.
When we were finished shopping and walking out of the store a vendor was selling baked potatoes and baked sweet potatoes. Teresa and Deb were all over it LOL they grabbed one and was so happy !! Guess you hardly ever get big baked potatoes here in Japan so when they saw them they wanted them LOL!!!! Funny how small things in life can bring a smile on your face. Teresa and Deb watched as the lady put big pats of butter on them and wrapped them up in foil. I'm sure the ladies enjoyed their baked potatoes that evening. : -)
Teresa dropped me off at the train station and I made my way home to wait on Marlon to get home. I got back to the hotel and Bryan was sitting there waiting on me to get back. I was holding their (Bryan & Dave) key to their room so if either one of them got back before the other they could get in. I'm happy to have met Bryan such a nice gentleman. He told me he had been caught in the rain and had only been sitting there about 10 minutes. I showed him the nano bugs I bought for my grandson's I'm sure they all will like them.... new electronic toy here in Japan.
Marlon is home and we have decided to eat dinner with the VQD crew from ELP. Going to a new place which we have heard is very good, gonna check it out and see for ourselves. Enjoyed our dinner and drink, had lots of fun. I laughed so hard last night that my belly hurts this morning. LOL Everyone was so entertaining.
We were greeted with a plate that had 2 whole little fish, caviar, and a piece of ?......LOL OMG I don't know if I can try this. A few of the guys ate theirs right up including Marlon.. Well if they can do it I can too!!
