Shopping on Kinney~Stout Burgers & Brews~ShaShaty

Met Audy, Greg, and Liz down on Kinney and first in Venice.  We found the parking lot to park in and fed the meter.  We were impressed with the artwork on the parking lot walls.
Marlon contacted Audy to find out where they were.  He used the GPS on his phone to find them.  Somehow it sent us in the wrong direction.  Marlon called again to find out where they were.  He input the location again and this time, we found each other.  We shopped and stopped for coffee along the way.

After shopping we were hungry.  We were going to cook out but really we were not prepared for such an event.  Decided to go home and get freshened up and go out for a beer and burger.  Walked down to the 3rd street promenade for some nightlife fun.  Lots of entertainers in the streets tonight.  I stopped to listen to a guy playing the saxophone.  I told Marlon I wanted to buy his CD for $10.  As soon as I went up to purchase I noticed the CD cover of his older CD was something I think we already had.  It put a big smile on my face and motioned for Marlon to come over to confirm I was right.  Sure enough, I was.  He had just made another CD so we were lucky to see him again.  Last time we saw him he was playing at Universal Studios.  We heard him playing when we were at BB Kings restaurant.  We listened to him play and decided to buy his CD. I Loved his music then and still love it to this day.  I even got his autograph on the CD.  I'm feeling like one lucky lady.Tonight was a good night to be uptown on 3rd Street.  I also enjoyed watching some other entertainment.  These guys sure know how to entertain.  You can watch the youtube video here if you would like. After enjoying the entertainment in the streets, we are very hungry now LOL.  Time to find a place to eat.  Went to several places, but they just did not look like the places we wanted to be tonight.  Marlon found a place online called Stouts Burgers & Beers.  He put the address in 111 N Santa Monica Blvd, Santa Monica, CA 90401 and away we went to find this place.  It wasn't far at all.  Once we arrived we both decided this was the place for us tonight.  We sat outside and talked while enjoying the view. This is a fairly new place and the wait staff was excellent.   After checking out the menu we ordered the STOUT BURGER which had (Blue Cheese / Emi Gruyere / Rosemary Bacon / Caramelized Onion / Horseradish Cream / Roasted Tomatoes) I can say this place has an amazing burger and great cheese cover fries.  Burgers are $13 but well worth it.  You can get them for $5 from 4-6 every day for the happy hour.

Walked down to Santa Monica pier before going home.  It never gets old watching so many people enjoying this place.  Good Night from Santa Monica, CA
