Marlon has had a cold for the past week. Today he spent most of it in bed. I told him he needs to rest to get better. When he got up he wanted to take a walk down the boardwalk to Santa Monica pier and watch the sun go down with me.
Lots of things going on at the beach. Enjoyed watching these guys balancing and using the tight ropes as a trampoline. They are very good.
We are at the pier now and going to walk down through the crowd and out to the end of the pier.
Check out this neat playground equipment. ;-)
Maybe someday we will drive route 66 from beginning to end.
Lots of people at the pier tonight
People are lining up on the beach down by the pier to watch the sun go down also. Nice night to just hang out at the pier. Loved listening to all the people on the pier singing and playing music.
Sitting on the dock of the bay watching the tides roll away. Oh, I'm just sitting on the dock of the bay wasting time.
Time to leave and head back to the apartment to eat dinner. Things look so different at night time all lit up.
