Biking To Venice Beach

 Audrey, Greg, and Elizabeth came over and we decided to go rent bikes.  We are going to ride to Venice Beach.  Marlon and I prepared the bikes we have from the hotel and met them at the bike rental in Santa Monica by the pier.  

  It is a beautiful sun shinny day and there are many sail boats out on the Pacific today.  Love the view, I could stay here for hours and just watch them, its so relaxing.

We rode our bikes till we got to Venice Beach and stopped to watch all the people out on there skate boards at the park made just for them. Some of them are very good.  I was tired just watching them.  I could tell they were hot from working out, the sweat was glistening on them and they had there shirts off.

We got back on our bikes and took off to find the end of Venice Beach shopping area.  Elizebeth and I took off first.  I stopped to take a picture and Elizebeth stopped also.  We thought the rest of the group was still back there so i took pics and Liz waited on them to go by.  There was a guy painting a design on the wall, looked like he was painting a cartoon character.

I was done taking pics and still we had not seen them go by.  Finally Liz decided to call Audrey.  I guess they had passed us and we didn't see them go by.  Marlon rode back to get us and take us to Audy and Greg's location.  We are finally all together and are going to walk our bikes down by the shopping.  Lots of activities going besides all the shopping available. Lots of people here this weekend, made it  difficult to push our bikes through the crowd.

We have now arrived at Muscle Beach in Venice Beach CA.  Boy, these guys are looking rough and tough.  Such big muscles......wow.

  We have completed are bike ride and are back in Santa Monica.  I saw this girl swing on these rings from one end to the other.  She beat out all the guys that were just trying to get from one end to the other.

It's time for dinner we have not eaten since breakfast this morning.  Walked down town and went into a mall.  Went to the top of building where the food court is and found a pizza place.  Sat outside and ate wood fired pizza and had a beer.  Talked and laughed and enjoyed each other's company.

 Walked back to the Santa Monica Pier and walked to the end of the pier.  There was lots of people fishing.  Stood and watched them awhile.    Loved looking at the Ferris wheel light up with lots of brilliant colors.
