Got up early around 6am and got ready to go meet Audy and Elizabeth at CBS studios.
Address, was CBS Television City, Fairfax Gate 7800 Beverly Blvd. Hollywood CA Elizabeth got 4 tickets for all of us to go to the first show. They make 2 shows a day. Started our morning with a great breakfast, made by hubby. Everything is put away and we are ready to leave to meet up with Audy. I can't wait to see the t~shirts Audy and Liz made for all of us to wear to The Price is Right Show. All I know is my shirt is going to be a florescent pink. We met up and walked to stand in line for the show. We have priority tickets so hopefully we will get some special privileges. I loved my shirt and Marlon's too. His shirt says retired and mine says now all we need is a BOAT!!!! Audrey and Liz did stayed up till midnight working on all 4 shirts.
It took a couple hours to make it into the show after completing paperwork and having pictures taken. Upon our entrance to the show, it was not what expected. I expected it to be a huge area but I have never been on a movie set before. I am so blessed to get to experience this. Even if we didn't win, it was still worth the experience of being there. 2 on the contestants actually came from the area we were sitting in. One person was right behind me and the other was in front of me to my left. Wishing I was going to be called or at least, one of us. No, go this time. Never know maybe we will try this again another time. No cameras allowed in the show so we took these pictures after the show of all of us in our name tags.
We were all hungry since it was almost 2pm. Went to the Farmers Market and it is the largest Farmers Market I have ever been too. Plenty of veggies, fruits, flowers, lots of food and other things for sale. Marlon and I had some Indian food that was super delicious. Everyone had something different and their food was good also. Did some shopping and Audy bought a hat that looks so good on her. We stopped at this awesome place that put expresso in a cone that was lined with chocolate. Each rim of the cone had something special on it. Mine was Red Velvet Cake :-)
The girls are tired so they are going home to take a nap. Marlon and I looked around some more. I did manage to see a trolley car that took people around this mall and dropped them off at multiple locations.
I thought this was a great view of the Santa Monica Pier with the ocean roaring around the pier. The wind is really making some strong waves tonight.
It's so nice to watch the sun make such beautiful reflections on the water and sand.

I also saw a sign saying customer service will loan out batteries to help keep your phone charged while you shop. How cool is that?
Marlon stopped at Macys so I could use a $10 coupon I had. I found what I wanted fairly quickly and we left to find some coffee. Nordstrom sells coffee so we bought some. Very good taste. LA Nails was on the 2nd floor and Marlon mentioned it to me. I ask if we had an hour so I could get my nails done before we leave for Japan. He told me to go ahead and so I did. Happy to have one more thing out of the way.
It's been a long day and we are back to Santa Monica. We thought we would quickly go down to the beach to watch the sunset. It is breezy outside so I'm glad I put my sweater on. On the walk to the beach, I heard some birds. I stopped to look for them and found them in a bush. They don't hang out long once they spot you getting near them. I did manage to get a quick shot of them.
saw where someone had been making sand castles. Wowza, they did a wonderful job.
The birds are flying around and little birds are running around trying to stay away from the tide. Its fun to watch them go towards the water and the minute the tide comes in the run away from it.
Watching hubby taking photos of the sunset..........boy do I love this man.
