Rainy Day in LA

Today before the rain comes at 2pm we decided to go shop for our Japanese friends.  We went to Venice and walked down Kinney and Abbott streets.  Found this neat shop that was filled with Japanese things.  I show these temarri balls that my friend Teresa makes.  I think hers are even prettier than the ones at this store.

Shopped in many stores up and down the street but did not find anything to purchase for our friends.  Stopped for a small break, my left knee is hurting.

  There is lots of art work on the sides of buildings, all the art is so colorful. 

In the car now and going back to Santa Monica to Ashland Hill to eat lunch.  We parked and started to walk down the street for lunch.  You guessed it right, the rain is here as promised.   This is a new place for us and I am loving the covered outdoor seating area. As we sat down the rain really started pouring down and the manager came over to us to help us move to new location.  The area we were sitting in the rain comes in and he wanted to make sure we enjoyed our lunch.  At this place you go and order your own drinks and food.  You also pay as you buy which we didn't mind at all.

 Marlon and I sat in the restraraunt for an 1 hour and a half enjoying the drink and food.  When the rain finally slowed down we covered up and went to the car to get home.  The temperature outside is cold now since it has stopped raining.  It's ok though we are home and watching movies.  Great day to do nothing but relax. :-)
