moab, Utah

One night stay in this beautiful hustling and bustling town.  Lots of unique shops, places to eat and activities.
Walked around Moab to take in all that it had to offer.
Hey, Patty Byrd, I found a store in Moab in with last name on it.  Any relation?
We did venture in to check out a few shops including this nice quilt shop.  I've got the bug to learn how to really quilt.  Wish my family who quilts lived closer to teach me.
Many buggy rentals to tour around this awesome mountainous area.
Topped the evening off with a trip to the local brewery.  Very busy place loved the beer and the local cuisine.  Met several people in the brewery and all were so interesting to talk to.  One girl was traveling on her own to visit her parents.  She was sleeping in her van for the night.  She was an avid mountain biker and loved exploring the trails.  So friendly to talk to.  Also met a group of ladies, a purple-haired Mom who was 84, she had 2 daughters with her.  One of the daughters had a nice big driveable camper, which they were traveling in and staying at KOA's along the way.  This is something the group does together every year.  Boy I loved taking my Mommy on journeys with us.  Missing her like crazy.

Had lunch at a place where you placed your order and seated yourself.  They did bring the food out to you.  Sat outside and enjoyed the scenery and the nice fall-like setting.
