Up early and on our way to Kennedy Space Center. Greg & Audy are anxious to get there. Glad we could take them to Kennedy Space Center.

Night time shot of the rocket garden
Time for a bus tour to see the rocket launch areas and listen to our tour guide talk about the various buildings located throughout the tour. We did see Boeing building who is are working on building a rocket that will go to the moon. Another company called Space X also is trying to build a rocket that will take them to the moon. Before we loaded the tour bus we spotted this astronaut walking around. How cool is that?

Time to load the bus
Launch Pad 39A at NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida following the arrival of space shuttle Atlantis in preparation for its final flight, the STS-132 mission in May 2010.
Going to see Atlantis
Apollo 8 and the Firing Room We sat down in the theater and in front of us was the original consoles used during the Apollo launches. We watched as 3 movie screens showed the lift-off of the Saturn V moon rocket lift off the pad and launch into space. We actually felt the seats and heard the windows rattle when the rocket took off. What a great experience this was.
Time to view this huge place that holds the Atlantis and learn about its history
Getting late and still have to pack for trip to St. Louis when we get back. One more stop to go. IMAX Theater with 3d glass was so much fun.
Greg's first try at eating dipping dots. I think he liked them he ate them all.
