There are so many varieties of roses within the park. All are fragrant and so brilliant in color. I did take time while there to sit and smell the roses, relax and enjoy the beauty God has given us. There was a nice breeze blowing making the 88 F not bad at all. Sorry for all the rose pics but they are just so beautiful. The park was created in 1953 and has grown to include 12,000 roses of more than 400 varieties. There are also herb and perennial gardens and display beds of annual plantings.
